It seems like every time I get ready for a night out, my closet just becomes a huge puzzle that I can’t figure out, overwhelms me, I overthink the fact that people might notice if I wear plaid and stripes, then I end up wearing my favorite pair of Levi’s and a tee. This wouldn’t be a problem if I didn’t keep buying clothes specifically for going out, and then have them sit in my closet for years until I decide to list them on Poshmark. Now, I consciously try to stray away from having only one or two basic outfits on reserve for going out, and instead wear whatever I want. Whenever I find myself in a rut about what to wear, I check Instagram for inspo – here’s what I saved this week (even though I’m probably definitely not going out):
I probably save every other picture that Emili posts – her whole page is goals.
Leather Jacket, monotone, bell bottoms, and cockroack killers – love.

one of the most aesthetically pleasing pictures on my feed this week
All these Ganni-esque sweaters are giving me FOMO and I need one ASAP
This outfit just makes me want a puffer jacket honestly.

70’s are definitely back.

Reserved for a hungover Sunday brunch.
Included this solely for the Proenza Schouler velvet tie dye top.
She just looks like a cozy little (designer) bean, and I’m jealous.
Blazer dresses – another trend I love but will likely never participate in because I’m a noob.
The bell bottom jumpsuit + puffy sweater + sneaks combo = yes.
Carrots are in.

Can’t stop thinking about this coat
If you’re scared to wear maxi skirts casually, here you go.
Never underestimate jeans and a button up.
You can’t even see the color in this photo, but the miniskirt and Jimmy Choo boots combo is a dream.
Might be a little cold for this one (especially if you’re in Chicago like me), still cute.
Don’t know when baggy pants and boots became a thing, but kind of loving it.
Loving green right now.
More 70’s inspo.
