Did you always know you wanted to be a model? If not, what was your dream job as a child?

I didn’t always want to be a model, I actually wanted to be a dentist like my uncle, but my mother got me into modeling school at the age of 12 and my interests started to shift more into fashion.

What are some of your favorite projects you’ve been a part of to date?

I recently shot in Kenya for a close photographer friend called Michelle Vandijk and her boyfriend Oliver Sutton, it was an amazing experience, getting to travel and shoot has to be one my favorite parts of my job. She’s actually having an exhibition this weekend in Miami with some of the pictures we shot. Very excited to be part of it.

I also recently shot a music video that I’m very excited about because I got to work with an amazing director who shares a similar vision to what I love to do.

If you could wear one designer for the rest of your life, who would it be?

I don’t think I have a favorite designer, I love too many designers, I love fashion in general so it is really hard to pick just one designer for the rest of my life.

What advice would you give to younger people looking to break into the modeling industry?

To always be your true self, be confident with your own unique style, and never let anyone get you down. But also work hard, contact brands, meet people, work with different photographers, get yourself out there.

What’s your favorite city to visit?

My favorite city to visit is my home town San Juan, Puerto Rico. There is so much to do in such a small island, the beaches are incredible, the restaurants are really good and the nightlife is always a lot of fun. Plus I get to see my friends and family every time I visit.

What’s your star sign? Do you think it’s accurate?

My star sign is Aquarius. Aquarius’ are known for being free-spirited and a bit eccentric, we embrace change and can be a bit unpredictable at times. We are also great listeners more than we are at speaking of ourselves. Overall I think the Aquarius sign description describes me 100%

Who would you love to work with?

One of my all-time dreams is to work with Peter Lindbergh. He is one of my favorite photographers since I was very young and I’ve always looked up to his work as a photographer.
