While we already showed you some of our favorite shows from NYFW last week, we decided our ultimate fave deserved their own article. Area is a NYC-based label started in 2013 by two Parson’s graduates Beckett Fogg and Piotrek Panszczyk.

You’ve probably seen the Billboard cover when Ariana was named Woman of The Year, and that rhinestone blazer dress? from Area. Although I was rarely disappointed at the shows this season, the one that I couldn’t stop swooning over – and could actually see myself wearing – was this one.

While the couture shows and long dresses are a work of art, there’s no reason for the average woman to have a princess chiffon gown in her closet. But I can justify wearing a dress completely made of rhinestones to Sunday dinner. Filled with all the best trends of right now, the Area show was a favorite in that it was somehow both extra AF and wearable. Cue the tie dye, feathers, and rhinestones:
