Current Obsession: Rosie Assoulin

After dropping out of FIT to intern for Oscar de la Renta and subsequently honing her skills at Adam Lippes and Lanvin, Rosie Assoulin went full force and started her own eponymous label. In 2014 her debut collection was launched, and the following year she received CFDA’s Emerging Womenswear Designer of the Year award. She since has been stocked at Net-a-Porter, Matches Fashion, and other major retailers.

Assoulin now has a cult following of over 200K on Instagram and her client list includes names like Rihanna and Karlie Kloss. With minimalism becoming more and more trendy, Rosie Assoulin couldn’t be going more against the grain. Her collections of accessories and clothing alike manage to remain mixtures of romantic, playful, and elegant all at once. She has quickly become one of my favorite designers to follow because of her unique and refreshing perspective. Here are some of my favorite pieces that are available on her site now.
