I check my email every single morning when I wake up. Call it what you want, show me the Times article that says separation of work and home is key to life, but I do it and I like doing it. Emails are fun to me, okay? Ok. Anyways, I was thrown when I came across this BOF article in my inbox. If you don’t have time to read (or don’t care that much), it was on the massive relevance and the impact that influencers have and the industry is set to be worth $10-$20 Billion by next year. They also noted that, while easy to scoff and shake your head, being a major influencer is a full-time and draining job that often leads to burnout. Interviewing countless social media it-girls myself, I have to agree. They definitely work their butts off, and the industry has yet to give them the real respect they warrant.
